This movie got an Oscar nomination for costume design. Not really the strong point for me. What was the highlight for me was the scenic footage of Australia. Even though it is fiction they tried to be historically correct especially about the aborigines. While I watched it over 2 viewing sessions because it is almost 3 hours long it kept me interested the whole time. I would definitely recommend it.
