This blog is for all the folks I never seem to stay in contact with. So if I don't get around to calling or emailing or the internet loses the email it will all be here. :-). And if you are a visiting stranger I hope you find me not too boring, and maybe make your presence known with a comment or an email. What you will find here is: food I ate, food I cooked, some sports, movie (DVD) reviews, stuff I went and did and some, sometimes sarcastic, views of what went on around me.

I could get used to this
Six weeks ago I paid $3.499 a gal in California for gas (It was about $3.25 here). Two weeks ago I paid $2.429 in Tucson. This morning, just two weeks later I paid $1.999 a gal! I understand when the economy picks back up again demand will cause it to rise some but meanwhile I will enjoy it while I can.
I've grown accustomed to not paying anything for gas! hahahahaha
ReplyDeleteBut I've felt the gas prices anyway as my groceries have gone up a lot this year. And I don't think the secondary pricing to cover shipping will come down to reflect the lower cost of gas that it takes to bring the foods to market.
$1.69 in Knoxville and $1.73 at Walmart with the card. :)
