Haus Murphy

Met up with some Yelp friends for dinner here last week. Of course I reviewed it on Yelp:-) While most of the meal was OK I was disappointed in the sauerbraten. I feel that a piece of meat that has marinated for three days should has some flavor without the gravy and I should not need a steak knife to cut it. So I am thinking I should try it myself. I will most likely use a chunk of brisket as that is fairly forgiving of overcooking and that way I can do it in the crockpot.
